When a primordial evil is released by a team of scientists digging in the North Pole on Christmas Eve, the residents of a small town rapidly become infected and transformed into nightmarish creatures. Their only hope is a mysterious man (Kurt Russell) held at the local police precinct who claims to be Santa Claus.
This is a trailer for a Christmas-themed horror movie directed by John Carpenter, starring his three-time leading man Kurt Russell as Santa Claus. Using footage of Russell in The Santa Chronicles and of remakes of Carpenter’s films (Assault on Precinct 13, The Thing), I included as many of the director’s trademarks as I could, such as his newer compositions and a few of his regulars (Tom Atkins, Adrienne Barbeau)
