Disfigured killer Freddy Krueger, who attacks his victims in their dreams, has lost much of his power since residents of Springwood have forgotten him. Enlisting the help of fellow slasher Jason Voorhees, Freddy orchestrates a killing spree to get back to his former glory. But when the masked murderer refuses to back down, the two titans will have to fight to the death, while a group of teenagers caught in the middle try to survive.
This version includes some deleted or extended scenes and toned down color grading for a lot ot the dream sequences. Some of the more “2000” dialogue and over-the-top elements have been removed or lessened for a less silly atmosphere. I also fixed some goofs and created an extended prologue featuring a montage of Jason’s kills. In retrospect, I could’ve gone even further in tamping down the obnoxious editing and overblown direction.
